Costco is great. The selection is great, the prices are great and the staff at this store are awesome. However, what you really need to experience at this store is the parking lot. I'm lost for words. It's like they took a team of blind monkeys, fed them crack and then asked them to design a parking lot. Absolutely nothing about it makes any sense. It's probably worth a trip even if you're not a member.
Long story short, had a package go missing (UPS at fault) and I couldn't get through on Costco customer service so I went in to this store. Samantha T at the service desk was the most helpful. She worked it out so I could still get the item for the price I paid in store (it was a bday present for my son so I needed it). What was amazing to me is, instead of me having to deal with the lost package, Samantha did the wait on customer service FOR me and got my package canceled so I will get my money back. She called me a couple hours after we had left to let me know. This is way above and beyond for customer service and was so appreciated. I was so upset and frustrated after dealing with UPS, she made my day better and was so sweet to my 4 year old daughter that was getting antsy! Great job!
I'm torn about Costco. The stores seem more or less the same, so this one was nice. They always have good deals on something. The sizes aren't always relevant for us, and it really does seem to be targeted at a certain kind of suburban lifestyle. But the food is uniformly of high quality, and while not cheap, it is a good value. It's just weird to be in a store that large and think "hmm, the selection isn't that big."
More than you need of everything you want. Great demo food. Wonderful cafe for pizza or hotdogs that are almost free. Get your tires here! We did. Outstanding prices. Their gas prices are almost always lowest in town. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The carts are big for a reason. What a great store.
The worse customer service, as always. No ability to make the customer number one, they are good at making you feel that they are doing you a favor for being there. COSTCO warehouse is one of the most poor customer service retailers I know. They did not even offer a way to make the customer feel valued. Dropped my membership and never going back.
